About Workman Forestry
Workman Forestry is a family-run outfit in Gainesville founded in 2010 by Tom Workman, a UF-trained forester who worked as the university's urban forester. The company pairs tree removal and trimming with arborist consulting, so you can get an assessment before anyone picks up a saw. Kelly McPherson, the ISA Certified Arborist on staff, is the person most reviewers mention for thorough evaluations. Crews use bucket trucks, spider lifts, and ground mats, and they chip debris on site, which customers say leaves the yard cleaner than they found it. Reviewers repeatedly describe the crews as professional and safe, and several say prices were fair.
