About Southern Care Lawn and Pest, Inc
Southern Care Lawn and Pest is a Hudson-area company that covers lawn fertilization, weed control, liquid aeration, fire ant treatment, pest control, and tree and shrub care. The owner-operator setup and a university-trained horticulturist on staff set them apart from lawn companies that only spray. They use custom blended fertilizer and don't require contracts. Customers often say the technicians know their stuff and send written notes after each visit describing what they found and treated. Several reviewers report quick same-day responses when a sprinkler or lawn problem comes up. Some longtime customers say service has slipped recently, with mole cricket and grub problems and unresolved complaints. Ask about those specifically before you sign up.
