About Stumphead Stump Grinding, LLC
Stumphead has been grinding stumps across north central Florida since 1999, when Grant Thoman and his late wife Pam started the business. The company works from Keystone Heights and covers Gainesville, Palatka, Orange Park, and the surrounding counties. Grant runs the grinders himself, and the site shows him handling stumps near decks, siding, concrete, and buried irrigation lines. Customers say he often quotes and grinds on the same visit, arrives when he says he will, and keeps prices low. Reviewers also mention he leaves the yard clean and is careful with fences and landscaping. Quotes are free, and the company says it is licensed and insured.
