Asplundh Tree Expert Company
Founded in 1928, it's a utility-focused contractor that handles big storm and power line jobs more than typical homeowner trims.
About Asplundh Tree Expert Company
Asplundh is a large, family-owned utility contractor founded in 1928 and based near Philadelphia. Most of the work is for power companies, clearing trees away from lines, with emergency storm crews that show up after hurricanes and ice storms. Reviewers from Florida often report crews leaving limbs and debris behind, sometimes in yards they had nothing to do with. Several people also say the company's trucks drive recklessly and park in ways that block driveways and roads, and that calls to complain often go unanswered. A few customers praise individual crews as friendly and quick to finish. Expect a utility-scale operation rather than a small local outfit.
